Cupcakes take London!

Who would have thought? Cupcakes are taking over London? ha! I found one of my new favorite spots, Covent Garden. It is full of shops, street entertainers, great eateries and desserts(or should i just say cupcakes)!

I happened upon 2 cupcake shops! I have a soft/sweet spot for these little delicious cakes. My first stop was Ella's cupcakes. Just imagine a teeny tiny little shop with rows of glittered gourmet cupcakes. It was like looking into a jewelry case with lots of sparkling treasures. I chose a mini glittered red velvet. It melted in my mouth... :) Definitely recommend the red velvet!

The second cupcake shop I visited was "Candy Cakes." I have never seen such colorful iced cupcakes. Bright blue, yellow and hot pink are just a few to choose from. Not only were these cupcakes colorful they were quite BIG! Very interesting flavors..I chose Blueberry Cheescake. Mmmmm...boy did it put a SMILE on my face. What a tasty treat!

Put Covent Garden on your list next time you head to London. Grab a little cake and enjoy a live street performance. You will not be disappointed! :)
